Prop-firm rules: Consistency rules and minimum trading days

This week's prop-firm discussion is about the rules, not the brands. ZenithFX does not recommend or rank any programme; the rules below are general and every programme publishes its own. What to check - Consistency rules cap how much of your total profit can come from one day — a single large day can delay or block a payout. - Minimum trading days are about evidence, not effort: a few small, rule-following days count the same as busy ones. - News-trading and holding-over-weekend restrictions vary by programme and by account type. Compare programmes side by side, with the official source for each rule: https://zenithfx.com/prop-firms Discussion: Which rule would you check first before paying for an evaluation, and why? Please no referral or discount codes — the room is for rules and experience. Educational discussion, not financial advice. Trading involves significant risk of loss.

Thanks for setting this up. I'm still learning how these programmes work, so I'm not sure which rule matters most. My guess is the consistency rule, since it's the one that could hold back a payout after you've already paid for the evaluation. Is it usually calculated on the final total, or can a big day still count against you even if the rest of the month is steady?
